Choosing the right SEO company for your business can feel daunting. This is especially true if you’re not familiar with SEO and don’t understand the ins and outs of the craft. Take heart, we wouldn’t still be in business after this long if we didn’t help brick-and-mortar businesses increase their sales by finding all their possible ideal customers. That’s just a plain truth bomb.

Here are some reasons we know we’d be a great fit for your marketing needs.

We are affordable. No, we mean truly affordable.

Many SEO companies will laud themselves for being affordable but beware. Affordable, while simply defined as being inexpensive, can really mean cheap and incredibly inferior. Affordable is a buzzword for most companies, and we fall for that kind of marketing constantly. While it sounds nice that something is affordable, what we want to be careful of is that we receive quality. This is especially true when it comes to SEO.

Many SEO companies will rely on your inexperience, and they can spot the ‘green’ from miles away. When I say green, I mean both ignorance and their fiscal potential.

So, what does RebelFish Local mean by calling our services affordable? We’re glad you asked.

Affordable is only affordable if you don’t have to keep paying for the same work to be done in order to make sure it’s working, right? If something requires us to continue returning to the drawing board, and we have to pay every time we do so, it’s not fair to call that affordable. That becomes expensive pretty quickly. Since many SEO companies are banking on your ignorance in this space, it can be relatively easy to take advantage of their customers. We say boo to this nonsense and raise you a quality service!

We’ve said it before (and we won’t stop), but the fact of the matter is that if we’re not doing our job properly, then you’re not increasing your online presence, authority, and conversions. This simply does not work for us, so we strive to keep our prices reasonable while making sure you’re getting what you need for your business’ SEO needs.

We have 10 years of experience in SEO.

RebelFish Local is no newbie when it comes to SEO and marketing. We’ve been doing this for 10 years and have built up a roster of loyal clients. This number of years brings with it a more comprehensive understanding of the big picture and a grasp on how it changes with the algorithms, which happens 500-600 times per year.

These are the latest numbers on Google itself regarding the frequency of algorithm changes. If those numbers are true, this means the algorithm changes at least once a day (if we’re averaging using the low end).

If you’re going at the SEO game by yourself, keeping these numbers in mind, it can be a burdensome task to keep up with such regular changes while trying to figure out how to execute modifications to your online activities with regard to your daily business.

This is why it’s advantageous and wise to have a team like RebelFish at your disposal. This is what we do. We help businesses get on page 1 of Google, get more reviews, and increase their organic website traffic. We love what we do!

We track your results.

Since we’re practiced SEO whizzes, we know how to track your results through your Google Business Profile (GBP). Other SEO companies don’t track results.

Here’s our question… If you’re not tracking results, how do you know that what you’re doing is working? You don’t. It’s plain and simple. Another thing to consider is that it’s important to know where you’re starting from. Those big YOU ARE HERE stickers on mall maps tell you where you currently are so you can take the proper steps to get to where you want to be.

This is why we do an audit from the start, so we can know how your website is currently performing and get a better understanding of what needs to be done in order to get you more website traffic. More organic and targeted website traffic means more business.

We guarantee our work.

Yes, we guarantee our work. This is a big deal. We don’t know how to put this, but we’re kind of a big San Diegan deal. Ha!

All Anchorman quotes and jokes aside, this truly is a big deal. If you are going to spend time and money (which you’ve already spent more of than you would have wanted, am I right?), shouldn’t you get what was promised to you by an SEO company?

We think so!

The reason ORGANIC traffic is what we’re aiming for is that this means that the website traffic that’s coming your way is already vetted. These are targeted, ideal customers who are ready to buy. They are searching for what your business offers. This means they’re pre-qualified.

So, if you’re messaging is on point, you should have no trouble with conversions.

It’s important to ask any local SEO or marketing company you’re planning on hiring if they’re willing to rewrite the copy on your website or any other materials you’ve hired them to complete. If they’re not willing to do that, they’re not worth your time or money!

Speaking of messaging…

We are certified in the StoryBrand Messaging Framework.

We are so confident in the StoryBrand Framework that we no longer take on clients who don’t have a StoryBranded website. Wait! Before you decide this is too much, let us explain why.

So many businesses confuse their customers with unnecessary information and details. All of these details seem important to business owners, but when presented to potential customers, the disorganization of thoughts, beliefs, and details creates chaos and noise. Nobody can truly make quality and informed decisions when under that kind of pressure. It’s like when someone with ADHD is telling a story… so many details (all important to the storyteller and maybe to the overall story) but so much noise that the story loses its power and ability to inspire change.

This is what the StoryBrand Framework remedies. We use the StoryBrand Framework to clarify your messaging so that potential and ideal customers understand how you can solve their problem(s). When your messaging is clear, you won’t have an issue with conversions.

While you can hire a certified StoryBrand Guide to write the copy for your website (and other marketing collateral), a guide won’t generally track any SEO numbers. This means that while your messaging may be on point, you won’t know if it’s making much of a difference, and you certainly won’t get the nitty-gritty information you need to understand and make better decisions.

As I mentioned above, since we track results, we can see your traffic results as well as your conversion results, giving you a better understanding of any tweaks you need to make in each area of your business.

Are you familiar with the The 6 Key Parts of Your Local Business?

We’ve worked with many niches.

Why is this important? Some marketing companies and SEO professionals find a niche that really works for them, and that’s great! But, since we’ve had years of experience in web development, SEO, and messaging, we are able to apply a more comprehensive approach.

This more complete approach can be applied to ANY niche.

We have an extensive understanding of local SEO and how to research your local competition. This matters! You must know what your competition is up to and how they’re doing in the space you share. Many of your local competitors have SEO companies doing their work, but do they have an SEO company that is well-practiced in serving different types of businesses? This can be incredibly advantageous for your business.

Being able to apply similar methods across different niches is highly beneficial. Many times it’s easy to get stuck in a rut doing the same thing over and over again. This will always lead to cookie-cutter results. Cookie-cutter is the same. Cookie-cutter is no different. This means your business will not stand out, and you won’t reach your ideal customers.

The ONLY good thing about cookie cutters is that they allow for consistency. Consistency is great. Consistency is a positive thing for your daily practices, but if you’re not standing out, you’re not increasing your business. Period.

We can create content in a way that speaks to your audience.

We’re back to messaging because it’s important. While SEO is a major part of the puzzle to your website traffic and overall success, your messaging is where the real power lies. You can lead a horse to water, right? But you can’t make them drink. Of course, this well-known expression refers to equine stubbornness, but the point I’m trying to make here is that even if quality SEO increases your organic traffic, it won’t necessarily help you with conversions.

Conversions happen when your message is clear and causes your ideal target audience to KNOW that you can easily solve their problems. Conversions happen when you are concise about what you want them to do now that they’re on any page of your website. So, how is this accomplished?

First, we create a wireframe for your site with clear messaging. All the copy we write communicates what you do and who you help. The content we write for your website pages casts the customer as the hero of their own story and you as their guide. There is no room for noise or confusion.

We make sure there are clear calls to action so that they are able to add-to-cart at any time during their visit to your website. When the customer sees themselves as the hero of their own story and your business as their guide, what’s left is to show them what life looks like for them when their problem is solved by your product or service. The flip side is the same. Showing them what life looks like if they don’t take action is also important.

We tell their story in a way that inspires them to take action. Sometimes, this is transactional right then and there, and sometimes, it’s transitional. The difference is that while transactional refers to an official sale and overall conversions, transitional refers to a continuance of the relationship between you and your potential buyer.

Not all buyers are ready to buy when they come to your website. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve saved images on my social media under folders I’ve created for each category. I have a folder for ‘shop,’ and I’ve added the same image multiple times just so that I remember to go back and look when I’m ready. That way, the image is as top-of-folder as it can be, and I waste less time trying to find it. Everyone has their thing, and I happen to be a digital hoarder. Are there meetings for this kind of thing? Never mind, I won’t go. It’s not a real problem for me. Ha!

It’s also not a problem for you. Transitional calls to action can be beneficial too. As long as you’re maintaining a relationship with your potential customers, you’ll likely end up converting them. It could be as simple as coming up with different and creative iterations of the same message in order to stay top-of-mind with your customer base.

In February of 2024, I’ll be starting my 6th year as a StoryBrand Guide. I’ve worked on and completed a few dozen StoryBranded websites that have all shown impressive results and conversions. Robert, my husband and business partner, has done many as well. Although we guarantee our work, we’ve NEVER had to rewrite a website. I continue to keep a sharp edge by coaching at least 16 people a year in StoryBrand Livestream workshops, helping them with BrandScript, their one-liner, and homepage wireframe copy.
